    2020-2021 Kindergarten Enrollment

    Please bring the following documents with you (originals please):

    • Birth Certificate
    • Updated Immunization Record 
    • ONE OF THE FOLLOWING-Utility Bill; Gas, Electric OR Water (dated within the last 30/60 days)

    AND

    • ONE OF THE FOLLOWING Property Tax payment receipt, rental contract, mortgage contract, paystub, voter registration, correspondence from a government agency

     

    Campus Supervision

    The campus will open at 7:15 a.m. for students eating breakfast in the cafeteria.  The playground will open at 7:40 a.m.  The afterschool elementary playground hours are 2:05 pm - 3:00 pm.  On early Thursdays, playground supervision begins at 1:30 pm. It's imperative that all students are picked up from school by 3:00 pm as there is NO SUPERVISION after 3:00 pm.  Middle school students must be involved in a supervised after school club or sport if they remain on campus.

    P.E. Uniforms

    Students may purchase PE clothes from the Banker, Michelle Kennedy on Wednesdays and Fridays. PE shirts and shorts are $10 each, and long sleeve PE shirts are $12.  In the fall, sweatshirts and pants will be available. 


    High School Counselors

    High School Counselors will be arriving on campus to schedule 8th grade students into their classes for Fall on the following dates and times:

    **Please note that Millikan High School had to reschedule their initial date for programming current Newcomb 8th grade students into their classes for Fall: their new date is April 8th 2020 at 9:00 am.

    March 10th @ 9:00 am - Wilson High School

    March 16th @ 9:00 am - Poly High School

    April 8th @ 9:00 am - Millikan High School

    All other High Schools are currently to be determined or will contact families directly. 

    Students will meet with their High School counselors in the Newcomb Auditorium.

    School Office Hours

    Our school office is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.


    Attendance Corner

    To report an absence, please call the school office the day of the absence at 562-430-1250 or complete the form in the link below on the day of the student's absence.
